A delegation from Chongqing College of Mobile Communication in China New Business School Group visited the Department of Creative Arts, A&SS of HKMU on 7 August 2025. The visit was coordinated by Dr Rebecca Leung, Associate Dean (Administration and Development) of A&SS and Dr Shawn Shao, Acting Head of the Department of Creative Arts, A&SS. The delegation from Chongqing College of Mobile Communication, consisting of 9 teachers and student representatives from the School of Creative Writing, was led by Ms Guo Jingjing, Dean of the School of Creative Writing of Chongqing College of Mobile Communication.
During the visit, the delegation from Chongqing College of Mobile Communication discussed topics related to Creative Writing and its associated fields with representatives from the Department of Creative Arts at A&SS. They also explored potential opportunities for future collaboration. Additionally, Dr. Rebecca Leung and the representatives from the Department of Creative Arts introduced the Digital Arts Laboratory and showcased a research project focused on immersive installations, Artificial Intelligence, and Chinese literature. This provided the delegation with an in-depth understanding of the latest achievements in digital humanities education and research at A&SS.
