Programme learning outcomes

Upon completion of the BSSPSY programme, graduates should be able to:

  • Critically analyze and evaluate major concepts, theoretical perspectives, empirical findings, and historical and cultural trends in psychology;
  • Discuss and apply research methods in psychology, including research design, data analysis and interpretation;
  • Identify and apply ideas about how to implement psychological knowledge, skills, and professional values in real-world settings;

In addition to the learning outcomes for the BSSPSY, graduates of the BSSPSYH programme should be able to:

  • Develop effective arguments based on a critical review of relevant literature;
  • Synthesize insights into people's behaviours and mental processes, taking individual and cultural differences into consideration.
