Local arts scholarship forum

A conference titled “New Materials and New Methods: the Second Hong Kong Young Scholars Research Forum on History and Literature” gave up-and-coming young local researchers in these fields the opportunity to share their latest work. The conference was organised by the School of Arts and Social Sciences, the Tin Ka Ping Centre of Chinese Culture and the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of Hong Kong Shue Yan University.

International Symposium on Blockchain Technology

The School of Science and Technology hosted the International Symposium on Blockchain Technology and Digitization for Industrial and Professional Economy, at which leaders from academia and industry discussed new technological developments that are transforming industry performance.

Career Month

March was Career Month at HKMU. It included the HKMU Career Fair and a series of recruitment events that brought together students and potential employers, as well as activities designed to help students plan their future careers.

Talk of the Metropolis: Mr Franklin Lam Fan-keung

This month's presentation in the University's Talk of the Metropolis series was by Founder of HKGolden50 Mr Franklin Lam Fan-keung, who shared his vision for the future development of Hong Kong.

Darts for All Tournament 2023

An unusual darts event was organised in collaboration with the Hong Kong Blind Sports Federation. In this Darts for All Tournament, HKMU volunteers in the University's White Cane Programme helped blind or visually impaired participants compete by giving them verbal descriptions of their targets.
