Programme Description

The Master of Business in Research Methods programme provides training to an advanced level in a range of management and business research methods. They are targeted towards executives working in a commercial or professional environment where research plays a significant role, or executives who plan to study for a PhD.

Programme Intended Learning Outcomes (PILOs)

  1. Integrate and critically evaluate the literature on specific business issues or problems and analyse them using multiple perspectives.
  2. Critically evaluate the appropriateness of different theoretical approaches and research methods for business problems and issues, and apply a broad range of advanced scientific research methods to tackle these problems and issues.
  3. Identify the ethical issues that may arise in the conduct of scientific business research and propose solutions for the issues.
  4. Communicate and present effectively ideas, critiques, analyses, findings, and recommendations related to research.

Programme Requirement

Programme-specific entry requirement:

A recognized Master’s Degree in business or a related area (or its equivalent).
