Charles Lee seldom goes out without his camera. There's so much this 21-year-old wants to say with his images that he doesn't want to miss any chance to capture that special moment. One of his photos entitled 'Come out to fight for universal suffrage' landed the Most Popular Online Photo Award in a competition organized by Radio Television Hong Kong to promote liberal studies. Charles has shot more than ten videos since his senior high school days in Canada and has won a number of awards at the Canada Cutting Edge Film Festival. He came back to Hong Kong in 2004 to study film and TV production at the Academy for Performing Arts, but quit last year to study social sciences full time at the OUHK. 'I'd like to know more about the world and myself. Hopefully this will be good for my creative work,' he said. |
