Direct Application for Degree Programmes
The subsidized intake places of degree programmes under the 'Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors' (SSSDP) are mainly allocated to local applicants through the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS). Local applicants who wish to apply for admission to SSSDP degree programme(s) should note the following: – Should there be unfilled intake places after all admission rounds under JUPAS, SSSDP participating institutions will admit local non-JUPAS applicants via direct admission for no more than 10% of the subsidised places of each selected programme. – The number of unfilled intake subsidized places for each SSSDP programme, if available, and details of the application arrangement will be announced via the OUHK website at a later date. – When submitting the online application, local applicants can choose to indicate their interest for consideration for unfilled subsidized SSSDP programme places in advance instead of filling out another application when such places become available. – Only local applicants are eligible for SSSDP subsidy. Non-local applicants seeking admission to SSSDP programmes (non-subsidized places) should apply via direct application. – Late application will not be considered.   For information about tuition fees after deduction of the SSSDP subsidy, please refer to the section entitled 'Tuition Fees'. Students encountering financial difficulties may still apply for student financial assistance from the Student Finance Office of the Working Family and Student Financial Assistance Agency in respect of the actual tuition fee payable. For details about the SSSDP, please visit www.cspe.edu.hk/SSSDP.
Direct Application for Sub-Degree Programmes
The University offers two full-time Higher Diploma in Nursing Studies programmes via direct application. Applicants can apply directly to the University.   Applicants who wish to be considered for SSSDP places should select the programme code HDNGF1 (General Health Care) or HDNMF1 (Mental Health Care).   Applicants who wish to be considered for places subsidised by other government departments (mainly SWD) should select programme code HDNGOSF1 (General Health Care).   The application period for places subsidized by Social Welfare Department (SWD) has ended on 12 March 2021.  Incomplete applications% as of the mentioned deadline and late applications will NOT be entertained.   Details about our entrance requirements of these two programmes are given here.   Subsidies under SSSDP or by other government departments are only applicable to local students.   For information about tuition fees after deduction of the SSSDP subsidy, please click here. Students encountering financial difficulties may still apply for student financial assistance from the Student Finance Office of the Working Family and Student Financial Assistance Agency in respect of the actual tuition fee payable. For details about the SSSDP, please visit www.cspe.edu.hk/SSSDP.
