Biography

GUO Chao received the B.Eng. degree in communication engineering from the Suzhou University of Science and Technology, Suzhou, China, in 2015, the M.Eng degree in information and communication Engineering from Soochow University, Suzhou, China, in 2019, and the Ph.D. degree from Department of Electrical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), Hong Kong SAR, China, in 2023. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Intelligent Multidimensional Data Analysis Limited, Hong Kong SAR, China, in 2023-2025, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at EE, CityUHK in January 2026. Since February 2026, he has been a Lecturer in the Department of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Hong Kong Metropolitan University, Hong Kong SAR, China.

Teaching Areas & Research Interests

  • Teaching: Data Structuers Algorithms and Problem Solving, Mobile Application Programming
  • Research Interests: Data center resource scheduling and network optimization, cable path planning, and wireless networking.
