Biography

Sr Dr. Ada Tsang, Wing-Chi is current the Lecturer, School of Science and Technology, Hong Kong Metropolitan University. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy and Bachelor of Science in Surveying with 1st class honours from the University of Hong Kong. The doctoral research of investigating safety violations of construction works in Hong Kong has won two awards from the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers as well as the Occupational Safety and Health Council. Prior to joining the HKMU, she worked as Assistant Quantity Surveying Manager in Chinachem Group and Project Quantity Surveyor in Gammon Construction Limited. She was responsible for construction cost management and contract administration. She has extensive experience of various building and civil projects in Hong Kong. She is appointed as the Lead Assessor – Quantity Surveying & Construction Pathway, member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the member of Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS). Her research interests include construction safety management and project management.
