The School of Open Learning will launch the “AI Empowered Learning “ workshop series starting this September. This series will introduce innovative AI applications to enhance your learning skills and efficiency. Covering a variety of popular AI tools, these workshops will help you master AI technologies and unlock a new perspective on AI empowered learning. All workshops are conducted in Cantonese and via Zoom for easy participation.
Details of the workshop are as follows:
1. From Zero to One: Building Your Custom AI Agents with Coze
Date: 19 September 2025 (Friday)
Time: 7:00–8:00 pm
Language: Cantonese
Tool include: Coze
Highlights:
• Understanding the concept and role of AI agents
• Learning essential skills for developing AI agents using Coze
• Exploring practical applications of AI agents
2. Using AI Tools to Enhance Learning: Creating Multimedia Learning Materials
Date: 24 October 2025 (Friday)
Time: 7:00–8:00 pm
Language: Cantonese
Tools include: Doubao, Minimax Audio, Metaso, etc.
Highlights:
• Generating images and videos from text to visualize concepts
• Converting text contents into multilingual AI-generated audio to complement and enhance learning materials
• Transforming documents, notes, or papers into interactive learning videos
3. AI Tools for Multilingual Translation
Date: 14 November 2025 (Friday)
Time: 7:00–8:00 pm
Language: Cantonese
Tools include: Immersive Translate, Pot-App, etc.
Highlights:
• Exploring how AI is transforming cross-language communication
• Introducing a variety of powerful AI translation tools
• Examining the application of AI translation tools in academic contexts
4. AI empowerment: Strategies & Tools for English Vocabulary Memorization
