The School of Open Learning Badminton Competition 2026 was successfully held on 22 March 2026. The event was full of energy. Students played their best and showed great sportsmanship, staying positive and never giving up on the court.

This year, the tournament included Men's and Women's groups. The matches were played in a “round-robin” style. The competition was exciting and close. Many friends and family members came to watch and cheer, creating a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Dr. Yeung, the Dean of SOL, joined the event to support the students. During the awards ceremony, he encouraged students to enjoy sports. He said that university life is about more than just books; playing sports helps students relax, stay strong, and brings positive energy to their studies.

After the games, many students said the tournament was a great way to challenge themselves and meet new friends. It was a nice break from their busy studies. They hope the School will hold more events like this in the future to help distance-learning students stay connected and feel part of the campus community.
