[Shenzhen – HK] Innovation X Cultural Exchange Tour - School of Open Learning

Dear Distance-learning and Part-time Student,

To broaden students' horizons and enhance understanding of innovation, technology and cultural development in Mainland China, the School of Open Learning will organize an Innovation X Cultural Exchange Tour on 17 April 2026 (Friday).

The tour combines visits to innovative enterprises and historical sites in one enriching day. Students will gain exclusive insights into the frontiers of the industry—ranging from Smart Manufacturing to Green Technology. They will also explore ancient landmarks and world-class museums, experiencing the city's profound cultural heartbeat.

Registration Fee	$100 (Full refund for those attending both the online briefing session and the exchange tour)

Itinerary	1. Assemble at Heung Yuen Wai Control Point (Hong Kong side) 2. xperience Pingshan Sky Shuttle Line 3.Visit BYD Exhibition Hall 4.Lunch 5.Visit Shenzhen National Gene Bank 6.Visit Dapeng Fortress and Coastal Defense Museum 7.Dismissal at Heung Yuen Wai Control Point

Remarks:

Participants must attend the online briefing session scheduled for April 15 at 7:00 PM.
Participants must possess a valid Hong Kong Identity Card (HKID) and a Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (Home Return Permit) on the day of the event.
Participants must strictly follow the instructions of the accompanying staff throughout the trip and are not allowed to act independently or leave the group without permission.
If a student fails to attend the tour after registration, the registration fee will be non-refundable.
The School of Open Learning (SOL) reserves the right of final interpretation and decision on all matters related to the event.
