The “Board Game Moments,” organised by the School of Open Learning, was held successfully on 28 January 2026. The activity offered students a relaxing, fun opportunity to socialise through popular card-based board games, fostering laughter and friendship amid their busy campus routines.

The event kicked off with the host introducing two crowd favourites: ‘Codenames,’ a test of teamwork and word association, and ‘Dixit,’ a game that requires vivid imagination and storytelling skills. Going beyond a simple rule walkthrough, the host led an engaging icebreaker to ensure even beginners could dive straight in. As the game unfolded, students engaged in lively discussions and enthusiastic guesses to piece together each clue, filling the room with constant laughter and effortlessly drawing everyone closer together.

The board games offered participants the dual thrill of competition and collaboration, while fostering connections and teamwork through relaxed interaction. Feedback was highly positive, with many students finding the event enriching. It not only deepened their appreciation for board game culture but also gave them a chance to connect with peers from diverse backgrounds, creating cherished campus memories.
