On May 10, 2025, the V-Power Volunteer Team participated in the “Gate Maintenance with Care” event organized by the Haven of Hope Bradbury King Lam Community Health Development Centre.
On the day of the event, V-Power members first learned the procedures for repairing metal gates and received a detailed briefing from the Centre about the visit arrangements. Afterwards, the team visited elderly residents in King Lam Estate, applying lubricant to their metal gates and distributing warm soup and Shanghai noodles prepared by the Centre—offering both practical help and warm care.
During their conversations with the elderly, V-Power members also learned about their other needs, such as furniture repairs. These were reported to the Centre for follow-up after the event.
