ABSTRACT POSTER PRESENTATION INSTRUCTIONS

We are now accepting research abstracts for consideration for poster presentations. All poster presentations will take place during the conference date from 0900 till the end. We are looking for timely, thought-provoking projects that aim to advance clinical simulation and are relevant to the following audiences: paramedics, nurses, doctors, educators, simulation administrators, technicians, simulator hardware engineers, simulation software developers, etc. All abstracts will be considered, even if they have been previously presented at other meetings. Judges will present an “Excellence in Research Award” to the investigator/author of the winning abstract, as outlined in the marking rubric stated below.

Investigator/Author Guidelines:

All abstracts should be submitted online through the abstract submission platform.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is Friday, 14 November 2025, 23:59 Hong Kong Time.

All research presenters will be required to have a conflict of interest/finance disclosure.
Notification letters of acceptance will be sent out by Friday, 21 November, 2025. Abstracts that do not comply with the style and relevant content will be rejected. Notification will be given via email only.
The final posters will be published electronically on the conference website. The final posters should be submitted to the Conference Secretariat via email (simconf@hkmu.edu.hk) by Friday, 2 January 2026.
All presenters eligible for the “Poster Presentation Award” are required to be registered for the conference and present their poster. For registration, please click HERE.
A display board measuring 1000mm in width x 2500mm in height will be provided. The poster number will be placed on the top of the board. Presenters are suggested to make full use of the display board and avoid placing anything at the bottom part of the board as it will be difficult to view.
Presenters may put up their posters at 08:30 – 09:30 on the conference day. All posters should be dismantled by 14:30 on the same day. Any poster not removed by that time will be disposed without further notice.
Adhesive Velcro will be provided onsite for poster mounting. Push pins and staples are not allowed. Poster presenters are responsible to mount and dismount their posters on the display board by themselves. The Organizer will not take responsibility for any loss or damage of display materials before, during and after the Conference.
