VR Driving Training Study

Experience the Future of Driving!
A research team from Hong Kong Metropolitan University is studying the differences between VR driving training and traditional driving training. No VR experience required! 
Each participant who completes the study can receive up to HKD $350 in cash vouchers as compensation.
The study procedure is as follows:
Before starting on-road driving lessons, complete 5 hours of VR driving training;
Then, complete 15 hours of mixed VR and on-road lessons (either 3 hours of VR + 12 hours on-road, or 7 hours of VR + 8 hours on-road);
After completing the 15 hours of mixed VR and on-road lessons, take a VR simulated road test;
Some participants will additionally take one on-road simulated road test.
Both road tests must be completed by March 30, 2026.
Each VR driving session takes approximately 1.5 hours (VR experience time: 1 hour + break time: 15–30 minutes)
Target participants: Individuals aged 18 or above
To ensure the validity of the study, participants must meet the following criteria:
Aged 18 or above
**Have passed the Part A written driving test**
**No driving experience**
