ISM (Institute for Supply Management), founded in 1915, is the largest supply management association in the world. ISM is a non-profitable organization that serves its 45,000 members, professionals, and organizations with an interest in supply management in more than 90 countries. ISM-HK is an affiliate of ISM in Hong Kong, aims to serve members, professionals and organizations with an interest in supply management in Hong Kong and neighbouring regions. Our mission is to lead the supply management through its standards of excellence, research, promotional activities, and education and play a highly influential role in the industry and business community.
The 2024 ISM-HK Student Case Competition is an excellent opportunity for your students to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world business scenarios. It will challenge them to think critically, devise innovative solutions, and present their ideas in a competitive environment. By participating, they will gain invaluable experience that will undoubtedly enhance their professional growth and augment their future career prospects.

Competition Format:
The competition will be in 2 tracks – Track 1 for current full-time undergraduate students, and Track 2 for current full-time/part-time graduate students. The competition will consist of a first round screening and a final presentation, focusing on a unique real-life business case. Students will form and work in teams of 3-5, regardless of university, to analyse the case, develop strategic recommendations, and present their solutions to a distinguished panel of judges, coming from renowned companies such as A.S.Watson, Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Jockey Club, HSBC, Li & Fung, Lululemon, Microsoft, and Richemont, World Green Organization. The top-performing teams will advance to the final presentation and ceremony, culminating in the selection of the overall winners.
Prizes and Recognition:
Apart from the immense learning experience, there are several exciting prizes awaiting the winners of the competition. The winning teams will receive a wide range of rewards, from ISM mentorship program with access to seasoned mentors from notable companies, application fast track for internship opportunities from sponsorship companies, company visits, XBOX, Asia Miles, and cash prize. Additionally, all participants will receive certificates of participation, recognizing their outstanding efforts and contributions.
