The Student Medical Support Grant Scheme for the 2025/26 Academic Year is now open for the first round of applications. The Scheme aims to provide subsidies to full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students who have genuine financial challenges due to medical needs. Each successful applicant will receive a maximum grant of HKD $2,000 per year, covering outpatient services at government clinics, private doctors, specialists, Chinese medicine practitioners, and tooth diseases. Interested students should log in to the student portal “MyHKMU” to submit the online application form and upload the required supporting documents. Please ensure you read the Guidance Notes to Applicants [MED (2025/26) Guide-e] carefully before applying. The application deadline is 28 November, 2025 (Friday).
To provide students with more details about the Scheme, the Student Affairs Office will be holding an online briefing session on 21 November, 2025 (Friday) at 4:30p.m. All eligible students are welcome and recommended to attend.
