Metro FAITH Award

To encourage students to explore diverse opportunities for holistic development under the Metro FAITH, the University has established the Metro FAITH Award to recognize students' efforts in whole person development.

Eligibility:

Student

  • Full-time undergraduate students enrolled in a face-to-face programme are automatically admitted to the Metro FAITH Award. No pre-registration is required.

Activity

  • Activities must be recognised under the Metro FAITH.

  • Participation in recognised activities and their associated engagement hours will be automatically recorded and counted toward the Metro FAITH Award.

Requirements:

The Metro FAITH Award recognises students who meet the following engagement hour requirements within an academic year:

• Certificate of Metro FAITH Accomplishment (都大五毅證書)
• Metro FAITH Gift Box
• Invitation to the Awarding Party
Mastering Level
At least 5 engagement hours each category
• Certificate of Metro FAITH Polymath (都大五毅 – 通才)
• The top 20 students at this level with the highest engagement hours will receive a complimentary 11-inch iPad Air Wi-Fi 128GB (or a comparable gift of equivalent value) as an award.*
• Invitation to the Awarding Party

*In the scenario of a tiebreaker, a random draw will be arranged.

Definition of Academic Year:

2024/25:  from 1 September 2024 to 31 July 2025

2025/26:  from 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2026

Pilot Run Special Arrangement:

The Metro FAITH Award began on 1 September 2024 and will run as a pilot for two academic years. During the pilot period, students who have yet to achieve the Mastering Level in the 2024/25 academic year may carry over their activity records and engagement hours to the 2025/26 academic year to meet the Mastering Level requirements. For students who have achieved the Mastering Level by 31 July 2025, they will receive the Metro FAITH Award (for 2024/25) and start fresh in 2025/26.

Starting from the 2026/27 academic year onwards, only students who achieve the Accomplishing Level or Mastering Level within a single academic year will be eligible for the Award.
