From 1 June 2025 to July 31, 2026

Resident Assistants will be provided with:

1. An allowance of up to HK$10,000 upon satisfactory performance of completed service in 2025/26. Assessment criteria include, but are not limited to, attendance rate, periodic reports, event participation, and evaluation by the Student Affairs Office (SAO);
2. Plenty of training to develop invaluable leadership skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills; and
3. Completion certificate upon satisfactory performance

Successful applicants must:

1. Settle the full payment of the accommodation fee and deposit according to the procedure outlined by Student Affairs Office (SAO) or the hostel operator. The up to HK$10,000 allowance (Assessment criteria include, but are not limited to, attendance rate, periodic reports, event participation, and evaluation by the Student Affairs Office) will only be disbursed after the payment deadline;
2. Commit to being OCA resident assistant during their term of office. If they quit the programme or defer/ suspend/ withdraw their studies, they are no longer eligible to stay in OCA and must leave OCA upon request. The accommodation fee paid will be forfeited while the deposit will be refunded after deduction of any charges;
3. Understand that the accommodation allowance is subject to their contribution and effort upon satisfactory of completed service. The allowance may be reduced subject to the interim and final performance appraisal and will be disbursed in instalments;
4. Attend the induction workshop, leadership training workshops, monthly meetings and any other seminar/ workshops as assigned by SAO;
5. Submit a leave plan with SAO in case of a period of absence from duty (maximum 1-month);
6. Maintain a balanced lifestyle to discharge their responsibilities as OCA resident assistants; and
7. Comply with all terms and conditions on Residence Regulations and University rule, regulation and policy. OCA resident assistants must leave OCA upon request if they violate any Residence Regulations or the University’s rules, regulations and policy, or fail to discharge their duties satisfactorily. The accommodation fee paid will be forfeited while the deposit will be refunded after deduction of any charges.
