The Student Affairs Office (SAO) launched the Peer Mentorship Scheme (PMS) to match you with experienced Peer Mentors who will provide support ranging from lifestyle guidance to academic resources!

Through regular communication, group activities, and campus exploration, you will quickly establish a social network and master practical campus resources, significantly shortening your adjustment period.

Interested non-local new students who wish to join as mentees and receive support and assistance from Peer Mentors can apply online. Successful applicants will be paired with mentors in mid-August. 

Eligibility

Full-time undergraduate newly-admitted non-local students in Academic Year 2025/26

Period

From Aug 2025 to Feb 2026

Responsibilities

  1. Take initiatives in keeping close contact with your mentor. Discuss your concerns with your mentor and share with your Mentor both on your great or small success
  2. Discuss with your mentor on catching up and actively participate in the agreed activities
  3. Make it a priority to meet with your Mentor and be punctual to the gatherings
  4. Gather information and advice from your Peer Mentors and from other resources in order to make the best choice
