Elderly Wedding Photography

SAO organized the 'Elderly Wedding Photography Programme' and recruited 20 students to join the team. They were trained by the professional photographer and make-up artist for photo-taking and elderly make-up skills. Then they interviewed 5 elderly couples on their love stories. In the meanwhile, they took the responsibility to arrange the wedding clothes, fitting, site visit and decoration. Finally, they arranged two wedding photo-taking sessions for them in Oct and Nov in Lion’s Nature Education Centre.

This was an unforgettable experience for both our students and elderly couples. It was not only meaningful to the elderly couples, but also integrated community service with students' academic study.

Students’ Reflection (Chi Only):

周同學：「今次能跟專業攝影師和化妝師學習拍攝和化妝技巧，是最開心的部分。了解到一本婚紗相的構成元素，要如何鋪排拍攝，構圖有什麼需要留意，全部都是十分實用的。」

張同學：「最記得當天公公婆婆說他們如何私奔到香港的故事，令我彷彿有如看着⼀部史詩式愛情電影。絕對係可以幫她拍成⼀套可歌可泣的動⼈電影作品。若然不是碰到他們兩位，還真不能相信世界上有如此真實的、⼤時代的愛情故事。」

湯同學：「是次活動經歷非常特別，在長者夫婦細水長流的愛情中學會戀愛不一定要轟轟烈烈，反而平淡是福。」

魏同學：「活動能為長者的愛情故事和婚姻增添一個里程碑，令我獲得了滿足感和成就感，我認為這比任何事情都來得珍貴和具有意義。」
