Societies Management System (SMS)

All the student societies recognised by the Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU), including Students' Union, are eligible to apply funding and/or support for organising society activities. The Committee on Student Affairs (CSA) will consider all the applications and decide the level of funding and support to be given to each activity application. The decisions made by the CSA are final.

1. Guidance Notes for Application of Support and Funding for Student Activities (Students / Advisors)

To streamline the procedures and provide better support to student societies in HKMU, the Societies Management System (SMS) is launched for societies to submit their applications of different services and to check the application results without time constraints.

Student societies can submit applications for the following services through the SMS:

1. Application for Activities and Funding; and
2. Application for Reimbursement.
