  • Verification results will only be sent to the authorized third party (e.g. A Company) and will not be provided/copied to you.
[Questions 3–9 relate primarily to CSCSE and is not applicable to Distance Learning mode programmes]

Answer: Graduates can submit their applications directly to CSCSE. The University will not submit or manage applications to CSCSE on behalf of graduates. If you have any questions regarding the CSCSE verification or application process, please contact CSCSE directly. For more information, please visit CSCSE official website: [https://zwfw.cscse.edu.cn/].

Answer: Occasionally, CSCSE may review individual graduate’s class schedules during the verification process.

If you have graduated from HKMU in recent years and require the class schedule for the programme that you have completed, you may obtain it through your MyHKMU account, which remains accessible even after graduation.

Below are the steps to access the course schedule via your MyHKMU account:

  1. Log in to your MyHKMU account.
  2. Click on “My Programme” and select your specific programme.
  3. Click on “Classes & Enrolment.”
  4. Select the relevant semester you wish to view and click “Continue.”
  5. Click on “Class Schedule.”

Answer: You may access the login page directly through our university's official website. Once on the website, please click “Current Students” to find the login page for your MyHKMU account. If you encounter any issues logging into your MyHKMU account, please contact the Information Technology Office directly for technical support (Email: itohelp@hkmu.edu.hk; Phone: 2711 2100).

Answer: If you are unable to access MyHKMU with the instructions mentioned above, please take a screenshot of the issue and send an email to reg_ver@hkmu.edu.hk using your HKMU email account for our follow up on the matter.

Answer: Yes. The online authorization you give to the HKMU Graduation Team allows the University to release your academic records to CSCSE for verification purpose.

However, you must submit your own application for Overseas Credential Evaluation directly to CSCSE. The University does not submit applications to CSCSE on behalf of graduates.

After you have applied, CSCSE may contact the University to confirm your records, and we will respond based on official University data and the authorization you provided.

Answer: According to the CSCSE website, there are various situations in which graduates may receive a “暫不認証通知單”. You may visit https://zwfw.cscse.edu.cn/ and search the FAQs (常見問題解答) using the keyword “暫不認證通知單” to better understand the possible reasons. Additionally, please note that awards obtained through the Distance Learning mode are not accepted for Overseas Credential Evaluation by CSCSE. For further questions, please contact CSCSE directly for clarification and guidance.

Answer: Under normal circumstances, HKMU processes academic credential verification requests within 3 working days. During peak periods, it may take up to 5 working days. It is also possible that CSCSE has raised additional enquiries about your case, which may prolong the processing time. You may email reg_ver@hkmu.edu.hk using your HKMU email account to check whether HKMU has received a request from CSCSE for you, and when it was processed.
