37th HKMU Winter Congregation

The 37^th Congregation of Hong Kong Metropolitan University will be held on 22 November 2025 at Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Wan Chai and from 1-2 December & 5 December 2025 at Jockey Club Auditorium, Jockey Club Campus, HKMU for Distance-learning programmes (Postgraduate/ undergraduate/ sub-degrees) (March, July & September conferment graduates), Full-time Undergraduate programmes, Taught Postgraduate programmes (face-to-face mode) and Research programmes (September conferment graduates). Owing to the large number of graduates, the Congregation will be conducted on a school basis and in fourteen sessions.

The admission tickets have been mailed by post, and the gown rental information has been sent to the student HKMU email accounts of graduates who confirmed their attendance and/or gown rental before the deadline. If you have not received your tickets and/or gown rental information by 10 November 2025, please contact the Advanced Standing & Graduation Team immediately.

In addition, graduates are welcome to return to campus to take photographs with family and friends. For more information, please visit Development and Alumni Affairs Office's website.

Gown Rental Information

The University's designated supplier, Victoria Uniform, will provide loan service of academic dress to our graduates. Please read the graduation gown arrangements email and the instructions (click HERE) carefully to complete the online gown reservation at the website of Victoria Uniform https://gown.victoriauniform.com.hk/.

*Rental charge is waived by validating the redemption code at point of registration.

^{^}Extension fee, if any, will be deducted from the deposit. If the extension is less than 7 days, it will be counted as a 7-day charge, and the maximum extension fee will be limited to the amount of deposit.

Important Notes

If gown hiring requests have been made, graduates are required to arrange their gown collection from Victoria Uniform before the Congregation. Gowns will NOT be provided on-site during the Congregation.
The rental period is on a 42-calendar-day basis, counting from the date of gown pick up.
Rental fee for the first 42 days will be waived by validating your redemption code at point of registration. The redemption code is applicable to you only, thus do not share with other graduates. Graduates will need to pay the rental fee to Victoria Uniform if they failed to validate their redemption code during the online order process.
Graduates are required to pay a deposit fee at of gown collection. The deposit fee per set of gown is HK$1,500 (Doctoral level), HK$500 (Master's, Postgraduate Diploma, Postgraduate Certificate and Bachelor's degrees), and HK$380 (Sub-degrees, Higher Diploma and Diploma).
Deposit will be refunded by the Victoria Uniform if all items are returned in good conditions and on time.
Graduates may extend the rental period at HK$300 (Doctoral level), HK$95 Master's, Postgraduate Diploma, Postgraduate Certificate and Bachelor's degrees), HK$90 (Sub-degrees, Higher Diploma and Diploma) per 7-day period. Same charge shall apply for extension less than 7 days.

Graduates who wish to buy gowns may visit Victoria Uniform’s designated outlet for direct purchase (registration is not required). Any queries on purchase, please call Victoria Uniform at 3118 4396.
