New Media Art – The Conjunction of Digital Technology and New Modes of Aesthetic Expression and Experience

Prof. Jeffrey SHAW, Chair Professor of the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University, was invited to speak at the seventh talk of the 'Talk of the Metropolis' series yesterday. Under the topic 'New Media Art — The Conjunction of Digital Technology and New Modes of Aesthetic Expression and Experience', he took us on a sensorial voyage through his interactive art world, showing how he has adopted various media and digital technologies to engage the audience and convey artistic messages in the past six decades.
