OUHK wins annual Web Care award for the sixth time

The OUHK website was given a Jade Prize at the Web Care Campaign 2010 organized by the Hong Kong Internet Professionals Association. This is the sixth Web Care award the University has received since 2002. Analyst/Programmer Mr Henry Lin of the Information Technology Unit received the award on behalf of the OUHK at a ceremony held on 22 January. The campaign, which recognizes efforts made by organizations in providing barrier-free websites to help bridge the digital divide, has modified the qualifying criteria this year to heed further the online needs of people with disabilities.
