Overview

Knowledge Transfer is regarded as the third mission apart from teaching and research of universities. It encompasses a broad range of activities to support mutually beneficial collaborations between universities, businesses and the public sector, mainly referring to the transfer of intellectual property (IP), expertise, best practice, learning, know-how and skills from universities to the commercial and public sectors.

Aim

To benefit the community with knowledge by establishing systems and processes in the University to transfer knowledge (not limited to technology, expertise, best practice and know-how) from HKMU to the general public, resulting in innovative, economic and social improvements to the community.
