Latest Updates

  • The Bachelor of Nursing with Honours in General Health Care / Mental Health Care programmes were re-accredited by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong (NCHK) in September 2020. Upon successful completion, graduates are eligible to apply for registration as Registered Nurses (General / Psychiatric) respectively under the NCHK.
  • The Higher Diploma in Nursing Studies (General Health Care/ Mental Health Care) programmes were re-accredited by the NCHK in September 2020. Upon successful completion, graduates are eligible to apply for registration as Enrolled Nurses (General / Psychiatric) respectively under the NCHK.
  • The Higher Diploma in Nursing/Mental Health Nursing programmes were reaccredited by the NCHK in July 2023. Upon successful completion, graduates are eligible to apply for registration as Registered Nurses (General / Psychiatric) respectively under the NCHK.
  • The Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physiotherapy programme was accredited by the Supplementary Medical Professions Council in June 2024, graduates are eligible for registration to practise as physiotherapists in Hong Kong . They may apply for full membership of the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association, which is a member of the World Physiotherapy (Formerly known as World Confederation for Physical Therapy).
  • The Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Medical Laboratory Science and the Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours in Medical Laboratory Science programmes are seeking accreditation from the Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLT) Board. These two programmes are specifically designed to achieve the accreditation criteria set by the Board. The Board has already conducted its initial accreditation assessment visit for the BSc programme in July 2025, while the relevant accreditation assessment for the MASc programme is still pending. To register as an MLT with the Board, students are required to achieve a grade of C or higher in all the courses in the programme upon graduation.
