Dear Students,

The Department of Health (DH) is launching the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccination Catch-up Programme to provide free HPV vaccination to eligible female students across Hong Kong. HPV vaccination helps prevent cervical cancer and other HPV-related diseases. We strongly encourage eligible students to take advantage of this important health initiative. The programme details are as follows:

  • Eligible participants: Female students who are studying full-time or part-time at Hong Kong Metropolitan University, were born between 2004 and 2008, and hold a Hong Kong Identity Card
  • Vaccination arrangement: A vaccination team (from DH or an enrolled private clinic) will provide on-site HPV vaccination
  • Date of 1st vaccination at HKMU: 20–22 August 2025 (10 am to 1 pm, 2 pm to 5 pm)
  • Date of 2nd vaccination at HKMU: early 2026 (tentative); For information regarding the 2nd vaccination arrangement for 2025 summer graduates, please visit the website of the Centre for Health Protection, DH, for further announcements.
  • Venue: Clinical Simulation Education Unit, 6th Floor, The Jockey Club Institute of Healthcare, HKMU
