Introduction

  • The Creative and Cultural Industry is one of the dynamic growth sectors of the economy in HK. It contributes to 4.5% of the GDP and employs 5.6% of the workforce in HK (CSD, 2018 Report).
  • Media-related sectors make up the biggest components of the Creative and Cultural Industry and provide substantial employment opportunities for graduates.
  • This programme prepares graduates for work and further study. LiPACE has entered into an MOU with Chu Hai College of Higher Education and HD graduates can articulate to Year III of the BA(Hons) in Communication and Cross Media.

The programme aims to foster creativity and equip students with digital and technical competencies to work with various forms of media for the creative industries. Students will acquire comprehensive knowledge about the development and operation of cultural and creative industries from an inter-disciplinary perspective.
