by Visa, Master Card, UnionPay, FPS, PPS (Online Instant Payment), WeChat Pay, Alipay, BoC Pay or Quick Pass through the School's Online Admission Application System.

E-APP application: confirmation email with payment method will be received after application submitted; and direct deposit or ATM transfer at Hang Seng Bank (Account number: 024-262-269269-002). Please mark your full name and E-APP applicant number on the original customer copy of the Deposit Slip or the ATM advice; or prepare a cheque made payable to “Hong Kong Metropolitan University”. Please submit by email (lipace_aso@hkmu.edu.hk), mail or in-person to:

Applicants are advised to keep a photocopy of any payment receipt or any bank transaction record as proof of payment. The application will only be processed when the application fee is paid. 

^Application fee paid will not be refunded and non-transferable unless the programme applied is subsequently cancelled.

*According to the Education Bureau, NON-LOCAL STUDENTS, for the purpose of admission to post-secondary programmes, are defined as:

 

The student is a holder of the following documents issued by the Immigration Department of the HKSAR:

  1. Student visa / entry permit;
  2. Visa / entry permit under the Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates; or
  3. Dependant visa / entry permit who were 18 years old or above when they were issued with such visa / entry permit by the Director of Immigration.

 

The definition of non-local students will be adopted for admission, application fee, tuition fee, scholarships, subsidies, programmes and any other education-related areas.
