Returns to education in developing countries: Evidence from the living standards and measurement study surveys

(*This is an article published in Economics of education review, 2015-12, Vol.49, p.69-90.)

“This article not only examined the relationship between education and future income, but also provided empirical evidence to support the mentioned theories. It has discussed the methodology used for measurement while analyzing the living standards in developing countries. Although it failed to confirm the hypothesis that developing countries has a higher returns to education, it served as a great example to challenge existing theories. This way of thinking is, undoubtedly, what pushes forward the academic world.”
