Library Octopus Card Lending Service for Printing and Photocopying

The University Library now offers multiple e-payment options for printing and photocopying services, including WeChat Pay, Alipay, as well as Octopus Card.

If you don’t have access to the above e-payment options, you’re welcome to borrow an Octopus Card (The Card) at our Service Counters.

Borrowing the Card

  • Approach the Service Counter in person at either the Stanley Ho Library or the Ho Sik Yee Library.
  • Library staff will:
    • Verify the balance of the Card and confirm the balance with you.
    • Lend the Card to you for using the printing and photocopying services within the Library.
    • Record your user ID number on the log sheet.
  • You must sign the log sheet to acknowledge receipt of the Card and agree with the recorded balance.

Returning the Card

  • Return the Card to the Service Counter of the Library from which you borrowed it.
  • Library staff will check the remaining balance on the Card with you to determine the amount you need to reimburse to the Library.
  • Make payment via e-payment methods at the Service Counter, including Octopus Card (via mobile phone), and Visa / MasterCard (accepted through Apple Pay or Google Pay).
