RFID Circulation Service Now Available at Campus Libraries

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Circulation Service at both campus libraries. With the introduction of RFID technology, borrowing library materials is now more convenient and efficient than ever.

Borrowing Made Easy: Two Great Ways to Borrow

• Self-check Kiosks:
  Enjoy a faster and more convenient borrowing experience with our new RFID-enabled Self-check Kiosks:
  • Streamlined Borrowing: Place your selected items on the scan bed and borrow multiple items in a single, quick transaction. 
  • Familiar Authentication: Use your HKMU ID card (or scan the QR code from your HKMU Virtual Card) and enter your HKMU Single-Sign-On credentials just as before. 
  • Step-by-Step Instructions: A tutorial video is available on our Online Tutorials website.
• Service Counters:
  For those who prefer personal assistance, our Service Counter staff are always available to help you borrow materials and answer any questions you may have.
