Issue No. 62 (Nov 2020)

We are almost halfway of the Autumn Term now. In this term, you may not attend face-to-face classes or see your fellow classmates as often as before, still, we hope you could find learning enjoyable and interesting. The Library is also exploring new ways to support you in this “new normal”. We have sourced quality online resources and organized online quizzes to support your new mode of study. We also never stop enhancing our services and facilities in the campus libraries. Let the Library be your best study partner, be it online or offline!

A rewarding learning experience — Library-subscribed databases online quizzes

New services and facilities at the Stanley Ho Library to facilitate your study

The new Help Station is now in service in the Stanley Ho Library. The Help Station is set up near the Internet Workstations area to provide assistance at the point of need. Student Library Assistants on duty will be happy to answer enquiries on general Library services and facilities such as scanning, photocopying & printing and to offer assistance where needed.
Service hours: Monday to Friday 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Besides, a brand new interactive whiteboard is now available in the Active Learning Space (ALS) of Stanley Ho Library! The interactive whiteboard allows users to write and annotate directly on the board. By using SMART kapp, your collaborative work can be saved to your personal device and shared to others easily.  If you need any assistance on using the interactive whiteboard, please contact library staff at our Service Counters.
