SAO X Library: Career Fair and Book Display

A Career Fair was organized by the Student Affairs Office (SAO) in late March.  In collaboration with SAO, a Book Display showcasing the library resources on cover letter and CV writing, interview preparation, and company information sourcing was held from 25 March to 7 April 2019 in the Stanley Ho Library.  Don’t miss out checking our “Library Guide – Career Information” for more information when you start planning for your future career.

Collaboration: Artists X Creative Arts Students X Library Project

The collaboration project of the Department of Creative Arts, the Tin Ka Ping Centre of Chinese Culture, and the Library was kicked off on 21 January 2019 with an aim to showcase the creative works of OUHK students and faculty, and to promote interdisciplinary learning on campus.

As one of the project events, the exhibition of ink-wash animations was held from 21 January to 22 March 2019 at the Stanley Ho Library and Ho Sik Yee Library displaying the animations of 8 ink paintings from “Ink Global”.  To encourage young people to learn more about ink art, this exhibition had presented the contemporary masterpieces with five themes, including “Portrait”, “Landscape”, “Flowers and birds”, “Animals”, and “Modern”.  The event had brought an innovative experience to the participants who could explore and appreciate the beauty of ink art through animation.
