Gerontech Competition 2026 — Call for Participation
The School of Nursing and Health Sciences invites healthcare and community organizations to participate in the Gerontech Competition 2026, a featured event of the International Conference and Gerontechnology (ICG 2026).
Under the conference theme “Advancing Global Engagement In Novel Gerontechnology (AGEING)”, the competition aims to recognize and celebrate outstanding practices that leverage innovative technologies to enhance the quality of life, autonomy and dignity of older adults.
Participants are encouraged to showcase successful applications of gerontechnology that demonstrate measurable impact and user-centered design in healthcare or community settings. The competition process includes an initial online submission and online meetings with the review committee. The Award Presentation will be held during the ICG 2026 on 23 June 2026 at the HKMU Jockey Club Institute of Healthcare, Homantin.
Entries will be evaluated based on:Award-winning initiatives will be featured through professional video and presented in the Award Presentation of Gerontech Competition. The video will also be shared across the ICG official website and social media platforms, highlighting exemplary innovation that drives positive change in ageing and health technology.
