From time to time, staff undertake duty / teaching visits to explore collaboration opportunities with overseas institutions, lead students to perform internship, voluntary service, visits, and participate in study tour, experiential activities and international competition abroad, etc. Before making any duty/teaching visit arrangement, applicants must justify such trips and obtain approval from the relevant authority enclosing supporting documents, if any. Necessary subsistence and transportation expenses for the most direct route and economical class incurred by a staff member in connection with his/her duties outside Hong Kong will be reimbursed by the University, subject to the relevant guidelines.
