HKMU Startup Fund Launch Ceremony

The HKMU Startup Fund Launch Ceremony was successfully held on February 28, 2024 with an impressive turnout of over 160 participants and guests gracing the occasion with their presence, including students, alumni, academic colleagues, entrepreneurs and business leaders.

In addition to officially launching the HKMU Startup Fund, the ceremony also served as a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. We were honour to have invited renowned figures in the business and startup ecosystem as guest speakers who provided invaluable insights into their respective fields.

Mr. Angus Au, an alumnus of HKMU and the co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of the startup Future Salad, shared his inspiring journey of entrepreneurship. His story served as a testament to the potential of startups and the importance of perseverance and innovation in the business world.

The event also featured a joint corporate innovation forum, where Mr. Jason Chen, President of the International Intellectual Property Commercialization Council (Greater Bay Area), Mr. Liow Zen Pin, Partner at Ernst & Young Asia Pacific Managed Services, and Mr. Kow Ping, CEO of Well Being Digital Limited, shared their ideas and insights. The forum provided a unique opportunity for exchange in corporate innovation and its role in driving business growth and success.
