Balance and Gait retraining with Exoskeleton device

What is Exoskeleton?

Exoskeleton is a clinical tool that can:

  • Address physical therapy gait retraining goals through patterning and reciprocal stepping
  • Control and provide assistance to walk and transfer
  • Provide non-ambulatory individuals with the ability to walk

It helps individuals with lower extremity weakness or paralysis to stand and walk on level surfaces.

Exoskeleton is especially useful for gait training for stroke patients or patients with neurological conditions.
