A delegation from Dynamic Youth of Huizhou (惠州新動力) visited the School of Education and Languages (E&L), Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) on 14 January 2026. The group comprised 50 students, teachers, school principals, and Huizhou city education officials.
The visit featured guided tours of the library exhibition “Beyond Distance: Half a Lifelong Friendship of Eileen Chang, Stephen Soong and Mae Fong Soong” and the Language Centre, where participants gained insights into the University and School's learning facilities, academic resources, and teaching approaches. A programme briefing was also arranged to introduce the School's academic offerings, admission pathways, and recent developments. This was complemented by a sharing session on E&L students' university experiences and campus life.
As part of the visit, the Provost, Professor Reggie Kwan and the School also held a meeting with education officials and school principals of Huizhou to explore potential areas of collaboration and future academic exchange.
