European Language Classes

The Language Centre will launch three European Classes, including French, German and Spanish for HKMU full-time students. Let's find out more from below!

Class features:

Designed for beginners.
Learners can interact, communicate and work in groups during class.
The course will help you with all the main parts of language learning: speaking, listening, reading, writing, and interacting with others.
You’ll start with the very basics of French / German / Spanish, which is great for beginners who want to learn everyday.
You’ll cover topics like introducing yourself, saying hello, and talking about your likes and dislikes. You’ll also learn the basics of the grammar, like how to make simple sentences and use prepositions.

Class format:

Online Zoom classes (learners are required to switch on the webcam for better interaction between the teacher and learners).
Learning materials will be available online.

Application details:

Class quota: 30 spots
Medium of teaching: English
Eligibility: HKMU full-time students
Pay $500 class fee (Participants who attend 80% or more of the class will be eligible for a full fee subsidy)
