The Language Centre proudly presents The English Creative Writing Contest 2026!

We welcome all HKMU students to join us.

Judging Criteria

Content
Language use
Originality & creativity
It has to be author’s original work. NO AI generated work will be accepted.

Judging will be conducted by a panel from the Language Centre:

Dr. Danny Leung (Director of the Language Centre)
Ms. Jessica Lam (Assistant Manager, the Language Centre)
Mr. Connor Wong (Language Learning Officer)

Results will be announced on the website on or before 17 July 2026. Winners will also be contacted within 1–3 weeks after the announcement to receive their prizes.

Email your work in WORD format to lc2@hkmu.edu.hk. In your email, please include your full name in English and your student ID number.
You will receive a confirmation email after we have received your submission.
