The Language Centre proudly presents The English Creative Writing Contest 2026!

We welcome all HKMU students to join us.

Judging Criteria

Content
Language use & accuracy
Originality & creativity

Judging will be conducted by a panel from the Language Centre.

Results will be announced on the website on or before 30 June 2026. Winners will also be contacted within 1–2 weeks after the announcement to receive their prizes.

Submission Guidelines

Please submit your work in WORD or PDF format only.
Language of submission: English.
You will need to log in to your own Google account to upload your documents.

Alternative Submission (if you cannot use a Google account)

Email your work in WORD or PDF format to lc@hkmu.edu.hk. In your email, please include your full name in English, your student ID number and contact number.
You will receive a confirmation email after we have received your submission.
