Department of Creative Arts Study Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP)
The Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP) is a new subsidy scheme initiated by the HKSAR Government to subsidise about 1,000 students per cohort to pursue designated full-time locally-accredited self-financing undergraduate programmes in selected disciplines to nurture talents to meet Hong Kong's social and economic needs.
Starting from 2018/19 academic year, the Scheme would be regularized and more OUHK programmes have been selected, covering a wider range of academic disciplines including different bachelor degree programmes from creative arts and film arts and they are:
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in Animation and Visual Effects
  • Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Creative Writing and Film Arts
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in Cinematic Design and Photographic Digital Art
