Biography

Dr. Bruce WAN is a senior lecturer at the School of Arts and Social Sciences at Hong Kong Metropolitan University. He is a seasoned researcher, educator, and designer in the field of service and experience design. With over 20 years of experience in the field, including a stint as a lecturer and assistant professor at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s School of Design, Dr. WAN is well-versed in a range of subjects including design research methods, design thinking, and interface and interaction design.
Dr. WAN’s main area of focus is on technology-mediated experience design that supports human flourishing, particularly in the tourism and leisure industries. He is currently working on co-design processes and extended reality solutions to enhance technology-mediated experiences in these sectors. With his expertise in design and technology, Dr. WAN is well-equipped to help organizations and individuals create meaningful, engaging experiences that make a positive impact on society.
