Reimagining Porcelain Art: Between Virtual and Reality – Immersive Artistry of Mater Lee Siu Man Porcelain Painting

The Department of Creative Arts, School of Arts and Social Sciences, Hong Kong Metropolitan University is proud to present “Reimagining Porcelain Art: Between Virtual & Reality – Immersive Artistry of Mater Lee Siu Man Porcelain Painting” Exhibition at the Digital Art Laboratory, HKMU. The exhibition demonstrates the research results of presenting traditional Hong Kong handicraft through immersive and virtual reality experiences, with the great support provided by master artisan Mr Lee Siu Man, his porcelain paintings will be presented in 270-degree and 360-degree CAVE systems, through virtual reality technology in order to bring novel experiences and immersive narrative to the audiences.
