Cantonese, English or Mandarin
Video Style:
Live-action video, animation, whiteboard video, motion graphics, and other kinds of video styles are welcome
Video Sharing:
  • The video should be published on any of the following social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, XiaoHongShu, DouYin, Weibo and Bilibili
  • The video MUST be accessible without restriction

*All participants will receive a certificate to recognise their valuable contribution.

Judging Criteria

The team should provide tips to the audience on how to avoid financial scams when cashing in ONE kind of investment, e.g. cryptocurrency and real estate investments in foreign countries, so as to protect their financial well-being.

The video will be judged according to the following criteria:

  • Creativity and Originality (20%)
  • Educational Value, Message Clarity and Impact (40%)
  • Production Quality (20%)
  • Collaboration and Teamwork (20%)

Most Popular Video: The award will be will be given to the team whose video garners the highest number of likes on their chosen social media platform as platform at the specified cutoff time.

Submission Form

Terms and Conditions

  1. Each student should only submit one entry on a team basis.
  2. The entry must be an original work of art, produced by the entrants. It must also be the entrants' first published work which has never been submitted to other competitions or used for other purposes.
  3. The entry must not contain potentially offensive materials. The entrants should be responsible for the content included in their entry. Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration, Hong Kong Metropolitan University (The Organiser) shall not be liable for any legal disputes arising from the entry.
  4. All the materials used in the video must comply with the Copyright Ordinance and fair use policies. Any copyright issues must be cleared before entry submission.
  5. The video should be accessible without restriction on their chosen social media platform until the judging and promotion are completed.
  6. The date and time specified is based on Hong Kong time zone.
  7. The entry submission time will be based on the server's record.
  8. After the submission, no further changes are allowed. The entry is considered the final version. If repeated submissions are received from the same team, only the latest submission is counted.
  9. All decisions made by the judging panel are final.
  10. The copyright of the video belongs to the entrants. However, the Organiser reserves the right to use the entry for exhibition and promotional purposes through the Internet, social media and any other printed and/or electronic format.
  11. The Organiser reserves the right to rename, copy, edit, display, and publicise parts of or/and the whole entry.
  12. By entering the competition, the entrants agree to the Organiser to collect, keep and use the data collected in the submission form for communications related to their submissions, for promotional purposes or in competition activities.
  13. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the competition content, including the submission requirements, prizes and judging criteria without prior notification.
  14. In case of any dispute, the Organiser's interpretation and decision shall be final.
  15. Any violation of the Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification from the competition.
