About the Revision Course

Exclusive Academic Support for Professional Examinations for Students and Alumni

The Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration (“the School”) of Hong Kong Metropolitan University offers various academic support to our students and alumni for their further professional and career development and enhancement.

Free revision support is exclusively provided to our students and alumni to prepare for the HKCGI's Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme (CGQP). The School will offer a free revision course for the Corporate Governance module. Applications are due around 10 days before the commencement of the course(s).

The above timetable is tentative and is subject to change. If your application is approved, you will receive the final class schedule once enrolment is complete.

Fees

Revision courses offered from October to November 2023 are free-of-charge for students and alumni.

Application Procedure

  1. Read Notes to Applicants
  2. Submit online application form
  3. Submit personal details and documents
  4. Receive registration confirmation from School
  5. Start the course

Notes to Applicants

  1. To register, please complete the online Application Form under “How to Apply”.
  2. To complete the course registration, please submit the copy of HKMU Student ID Card or HKMU Alumni Card within two days after submission of your Application Form. Please send the document(s) to bsan@hkmu.edu.hk.
  3. The School will contact you to follow up, if necessary.
  4. Seats for revision courses are on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to secure a seat, please submit your application at your earliest convenience.
  5. All classes will be conducted in real-time interactive mode via Zoom. The Zoom links will be sent to successful applicants in the registration confirmation email.
  6. Please note that if your application is successful, you are required to attend at least 70% of classes for each revision course. Registrants who fail to meet the minimum attendance requirement will be put on a blacklist and will not be invited to or enrolled in future revision courses organised by the School.
Personal Data (Privacy) Statement
You will be required to provide certain personal data in your application for the revision course. The personal data collected will be used for the sole purpose of confirming your eligibility to apply for the revision course and/or providing services to you. Please make sure that the data are complete and accurate. If you fail to provide us the data requested or if the data provided is inaccurate or incomplete, we may be unable to provide the services to you. The University will keep such data confidential but may need to transfer data to appropriate personnel of the University and other parties providing services to the University. Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to ascertain whether the University holds your personal data, to obtain a copy of such personal data and to have any inaccuracies corrected.
