Biography

Dr. Joseph W.C. Lau brings over two decades of experience to the field of education. He is the author of five books and has contributed an extensive body of work to academic publications. Dr. Lau has received formal training in the fields of business management, linguistics, and educational psychology. He is a Chartered Linguist and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL).

Before his appointment at HKMU, he provided professional services in the areas of vocational language training, education consultancy, as well as in the design and administration of assessments and examinations.

In his leisure time, Dr. Lau offers non-profit community education to the public, focusing on self-improvement and personal wellness. He also harbors a great passion for literary creation.
