“Boosting FQ with Smart Tools” Creative Promotion Competition

Aims:

Students are encouraged to use their knowledge and creativity to raise public awareness of the available digital tools for personal finance management through creative promotion and media ideas.

Theme:

Effective use of digital finance applications can help me…

For example:
1. Be a smart spender
2. Achieve a financially hassle free retirement
3. Make a better investment decision
4. Maximise my life experience to the fullest

* Students are encouraged to come up with their own benefit articulation.

Target students:

All current B&A students are eligible to join.

* Individual or group (a maximum of 3 team members) submission is welcome.

How to join:

Create a media idea with the theme “Effective use of digital finance applications can help me…” and publish the work on a public social media account, e.g. Instagram, Facebook, XiaoHongShu, DouYin, Weibo etc. Poster, song, video, animation, short film, etc.

Format of media ideas:

Poster, song, video, animation, short film, etc.

Language:

Chinese or English

Deadline of submission:

16 March 2023

Judging Criteria:

a. Message (60%): Relevance to Targets, Clarity and Originality
b. Execution (40%): Skills and Creativity

The “Most Popular Media Award” will be awarded to the media idea with the most 'likes' on the uploaded social media platform by 31 March 2023.

Prizes:

Champion (1 place/team): HK$4000
First runner-up (1 place/team): HK$2000
Second runner-up (1 place/team): HK$1000
Team Spirit Awards (2 places/teams): HK$500
Most Popular Media Award (1 place/team): HK$3000

*All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

General Requirements:

  • Each student can only submit one entry regardless of whether it is an individual or group submission.
  • The submitted entries must be original work produced by the participants and it does not infringe the copyright of any third party. The participants also warrant that the entries do not contain anything defamatory or libellous.
  • For the “Most Popular Award”, only “likes” from one social media platform will be counted.
  • The entry form must be completed with correct personal particulars.
  • The copyrights of the submitted entries vest in Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration (B&A). The participants agree that B&A has the right to publish their work in any media for publicity purposes.
